Fornos Nobori-gama<\/h2>\n

Se alguma vez tiveste curiosidade em conhecer a cer\u00e2mica Shigaraki, sem d\u00favida que te deparaste com os fornos tradicionais Nobori-gama da cidade. Estes fornos, relacionados com o forno Anagama<\/a>, t\u00eam v\u00e1rias c\u00e2maras e est\u00e3o embutidos na encosta de uma colina \u00edngreme. Este m\u00e9todo permite um disparo mais r\u00e1pido e mais eficiente da cer\u00e2mica. Tradicionalmente, um artes\u00e3o acendeu a c\u00e2mara mais baixa do forno e deixava-a arder at\u00e9 ao topo. O forno inteiro era normalmente deixado a arder durante alguns dias antes da pr\u00f3xima queima.<\/p>\n

Hoje em dia, muitos fornos nobori-gama ainda est\u00e3o de p\u00e9, embora a maioria j\u00e1 n\u00e3o esteja em uso. Um dos maiores, localizado no Soto-en de Shigaraki, tem onze c\u00e2maras e tem mais de 15 metros de comprimento e largura. Na \u00e9poca da cer\u00e2mica tradicional Shigaraki, a nobre-gama era usada para disparar a cer\u00e2mica Sue.<\/p>\n

O argila usada no Shigaraki \u00e9 rica em quartzo e feldspato grosseiro. O conte\u00fado de quartzo na argila permite que ela se esmalte, e o feldspato adiciona manchas brancas \u00e0 superf\u00edcie da argila.
