For example, cognitive-behavioral therapy focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns, helping people to rebuild their self-esteem and regain their emotional well-being.

Art therapy can also be helpful, as it allows people to express their emotions and process their experiences through artistic creation.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row admin_label=”row” _builder_version=”4.18.0″ width_tablet=”85%” width_phone=”90%” width_last_edited=”on|phone” custom_margin=”||||false|false” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.16″ custom_padding=”|||” global_colors_info=”{}” custom_padding__hover=”|||”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.20.2″ _module_preset=”a2f533e2-9ee7-4615-bd4f-9d4f36476524″ header_font=”Oswald|||on|||||” header_2_text_align=”center” header_2_text_color=”#000000″ header_3_font=”Merriweather Sans||||||||” header_3_text_color=”#000000″ header_3_font_size=”20px” custom_margin=”||||false|false” custom_padding=”64px||||false|false” custom_padding_tablet=”60px||||false|false” custom_padding_phone=”40px||||false|false” custom_padding_last_edited=”off|desktop” header_2_font_size_phone=”30px” header_3_font_size_tablet=”40px” header_3_font_size_phone=”35px” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}”]

The Japanese philosophy of Kintsugi and its personal application

It should be noted that in Japan, art, philosophy and religion are linked beyond the symbolic.

To apply the philosophy of kintsugi in our daily lives, it is important to learn to accept our imperfections and learn from them. Instead of hiding or denying our wounds, we can see them as opportunities to grow and become stronger. It is important to recognize that emotional scars do not define us, but are part of our history and make us who we are.

We can also practice gratitude and appreciation for what we have in our lives, including our relationships, our experiences and our own strengths and virtues. Like Japanese Kintsugi, we can learn to see what seems broken or damaged as beautiful and valuable, and remember that our history makes us unique and precious.

In short, this philosophy invites us to embrace our imperfections and find beauty in our emotional scars. In doing so, we can learn to be more resilient, grateful and loving to ourselves and others.

Japanese philosophy gives Kintsugi the meaning of appreciation for things as they are. Zen Buddhism emphasizes this attitude towards life: to accept and appreciate it as it is.

Thus, the “repair” in this sense is that, the breaks become beautiful scars. This is one of the keys to human resilience, which helps to face the difficulties of life with courage.

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=”https://arteologic.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/filosofia-kintsugi-e1678899465465.webp” alt=”philosophy of kintsugi” title_text=”philosophy of kintsugi” align=”center” module_class=”zoooom” _builder_version=”4.20.2″ _module_preset=”default” width=”70%” width_tablet=”90%” width_phone=”100%” width_last_edited=”on|tablet” custom_margin=”17px||||false|false” custom_padding=”0px||||false|false” border_radii=”on|5px|5px|5px|5px” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.20.2″ _module_preset=”default” text_font=”|300|on||||||” text_font_size=”16px” text_line_height=”1em” text_orientation=”center” custom_margin_tablet=”10px||||false|false” custom_margin_phone=”-10px||20px||false|false” custom_margin_last_edited=”on|phone” text_font_size_tablet=”15px” text_font_size_phone=”15px” text_font_size_last_edited=”on|phone” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}”]

© 4 Nature Design

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.20.2″ _module_preset=”45941f4e-a49b-46c5-963f-947518df306d” text_font=”Oswald|300|||||||” text_text_color=”#000000″ background_enable_color=”off” use_background_color_gradient=”on” background_color_gradient_stops=”rgba(236,129,24,0.23) 0%|rgba(236,129,24,0.91) 79%” text_orientation=”center” max_width=”12%” max_width_tablet=”20%” max_width_phone=”30%” max_width_last_edited=”on|phone” module_alignment=”center” custom_margin=”||||false|false” custom_padding=”8px|5px|8px|5px|false|false” scroll_scaling_enable=”on” scroll_scaling=”0|50|50|100|100%|102%|100″ border_radii=”on|5px|5px|5px|5px” border_color_all=”#FFFFFF” box_shadow_style=”preset3″ box_shadow_color=”rgba(0,0,0,0.17)” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}” transform_styles__hover_enabled=”on|hover” transform_scale__hover_enabled=”on|hover” transform_translate__hover_enabled=”on|desktop” transform_rotate__hover_enabled=”on|desktop” transform_skew__hover_enabled=”on|desktop” transform_origin__hover_enabled=”on|desktop” transform_scale__hover=”103%|103%”]

VIEW SHOP

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_divider color=”#000000″ _builder_version=”4.20.2″ _module_preset=”default” custom_margin=”||50px||false|false” custom_margin_tablet=”||0px||false|false” custom_margin_phone=”||0px||false|false” custom_margin_last_edited=”on|phone” custom_padding=”||||false|false” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_divider][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.20.2″ _module_preset=”default” width_tablet=”85%” width_phone=”90%” width_last_edited=”on|phone” custom_margin=”||||false|false” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.20.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_code _builder_version=”4.20.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]We will be glad if you liked this post and found it useful.
